I have forgotten my password how do I access the system?
If you forgot your password, click the
Forgot your password? link and enter either the e-mail address you registered with or your username. A password recovery e-mail will then be sent to that address. If you did not enter a contact e-mail address for your profile, you can answer the security question you selected, and you can reset your password in that screen. This email contains a link that may get blocked by some mail systems so if you do not receive an email with 2 hours please check for any blocked message. Most Email systems will release such messages on request as they pose no risk to your network.
I can not upload a Word document?
Word format files with tables can cause the upload of the document to fail. Please convert the table to plain text in the Word file, or save the document to a PDF format and upload.
How do I know that my details have been received?
Every application that is submitted will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
I did not receive a confirmation email following my application?
If you have not received an email confirming your application after 48 hours please check the following
The Email address and spelling that you used. Spam or junk mail folders your email system may have operating.
How long will you take to review my application?
You will receive an email confirming your application has been received within 48 hours of submission. Within 72 hours your application will be reviewed and you will be informed if you have met the minimum selection criteria for the role. If your application does not meet the minimum selection criteria for the role your profile will be saved and matched against future positions that may be suitable. When we find matches we will contact you to check on your interest at that time.
Can I submit my details without applying for a specific position?
Yes all applications are reviewed against suitable positions. But we do encourage you to apply for positions that suit your experience and location as this gives you the best chance of success.
How do I update my details?
If you have saved a profile, you will be able to access the
Resume/CV manager link on the Home page. Here you can view and edit all of the resumes/CVs and cover letters you have stored on the site
How do I get my details removed from your database?
You can email us at
ksupport@hatch.ca to request that your submission details are removed. This may take up to 30 days and some data required for legal compliance in some countries may be kept.
