|Reporting to a Regional Business Manager, this individual will be responsible for the sales and channel management of Bose professional products in the Los Angeles metro area. This person will be responsible for expanding the territories dealer network and to develop and education new and existing dealers, integrators and consultants within the territory to support sales of our products into the vertical markets as defined by our products. This person will be responsible for implementing new strategic initiatives as communicated by the regional business manager and held accountable to these initiatives. This person will also manage key relationships in the region while developing new business opportunities within our target markets in the effort to engage new customers and dealers.|
1. Manage day-to-day activities in territory
a. Planning and forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual sales within the assigned territory.
b. Manage the sales effort within the territory working with the regional business manager, field engineers and team members.
c. Assist in launching and demonstrating new products and driving the sales of these products to meet divisional goals
d. Drive regular reporting on results in territory to management
2. Distribution development and growth
a. Select, develop, and train distribution to cover portable, business music systems and engineered sound channels.
b. In a team approach, develop relationships at all levels at larger dealers.
c. Ensure that distribution is in line with the divisionâ€™s strategy.
d. Set annual goals for each and monitor monthly, correct as needed.
e. Select and assist developing a network of consultants who regularly specify our products
f. Develop relationships with other key influencers, such as architects, operators, and other influencers of vertical channels such as houses of worship, portable, and performing arts
3. Implement key strategic initiatives as directed by the regional business manager
4. Collaborate with other managers within APSG as needed to ensure that divisional goals are met. This includes coordinating their consultant efforts with the Consultant Liaison and make sure they have adequate (qualified) distribution in place to respond to consultant specifications with their regions.
5. Perform business development with sales team to bring solid business to our partners
6. Attend key trade shows and customer meetings.
a. Must be able to establish and maintain solid relationship at executive, management, and sales rep engineering levels.
|Individual must be a very self-driven individual, who works well in both team and entrepreneurial environments. Experience in the Pro Audio Industry is a must. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required. Microsoft Office and CRM experience. About 50-75% travel is required. Position reports into Regional Business Manager.|
|Bachelorâ€™s degree or technical discipline is desirable with a minimum of 10 years experience in Sales or Management in an engineering driven organization.|
