| | Software Engineer | | US - District of Columbia - Off-site (DC99) | | Yes - Required to Start | | TS/SCI | | SRA has an opening for an experienced Software Engineer to support one of our intelligence and space programs in the DC area. This positon will be located in.
This position requires and active TS/SCI clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold this clearance level will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software and database structures necessary to model National Security Space Integrated Database (NSSIDB) data and provide required NSSIDB capabilities and products
• Create an integrated knowledge database to capture information about the elements of the National Security Space (NSS) enterprise and their relationships
• Provide tools to visually represent NSS data, such as architecture roadmaps
• Define, develop, operate, and maintain NSSO's modeling, simulation, and analysis environment, including relevant databases
• Support NSSO web-based applications
• Support the analytical, architectural and engineering activities of the NSSO | | 6-9 | | Bachelors | | • Computer science or information technology
In-depth understanding of object-oriented software design
• In-depth understanding of web-based application development and deployment
• Familiarity with relational database design
• Hands-on development experience with ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET
• Ability to identify, interpret, and analyze user requirements

• Experience with a wide range of web-based technologies, such as SVG, JavaScript/ECMAScript, XML, CSS, DHTML, DOM, IIS
• Hands-on experience with MS Access, MS SQL Server, and ORACLE
• Familiarity with UML and iterative software lifecycle processes
• Experience with graphical user interface design
• Experience with computer graphics and data visualization techniques
