Systems Engineer / Information Technology Enterprise Services

SRA International is actively seeking candidates in anticipation of upcoming opportunities to support communications and networking infrastructure at various locations to include Portland, Oregon.

This effort provides a full range of Information Technology (IT) engineering and infrastructure support services by providing secure enterprise-wide Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) supporting the government with direct on-site command and control, coordination, planning, and operations and maintenance support for routine and emergency information technology resources services.

We are currently seeking candidates possessing SECRET and TS/SCI clearance within the following skillsets:

• Senior Systems Engineers
• Associate Systems Engineers

Responsibilities: Defines, designs and develops system requirements. Performs trade-off analysis of performance, life-cycle cost, risk, producibility, and other system or program requirements. Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations, defines and designs system specifications, and evaluates input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Defines system support requirements to include monitoring, capacity, staffing and patching/updating. Analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Conducts independent technical investigations in systems design. Evaluates vendor capabilities using processes similar to DAR to provide required products or services.

Develops and implements risk and opportunity management plans, identifies risks, assesses risks, develops mitigation plans, and tracks risks. Identifies program objectives and technical development strategy; prepares System Engineering Management Plan, Work Breakdown Structures, master schedules, and key performance parameters. Collects, analyzes, tracks, and reports program metrics. Acts as a mentor to junior team members. Manages customer and stakeholder needs, generates and develops requirements, and performs functional analysis.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience

Certifications:

- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- IAT 1 (DoD 8570) GIAC: Global Information Assurance Certification
- CompTIA Security +
