Conduct or participate in complex financial analysis projects. Perform monthly forecast updates to operating plans. Generate financial reports using Hyperion Essbase. Perform financial risk evaluation, short-and long term cash flow planning and preparation of financial scenarios using complex multivariate modeling to support management decisions. Provide strategic and tactical support in critical project planning analysis and success metrics. Coordinate with Avaya’s global locations spread in regions outside North America, and lead on company wide financial initiatives. Provide analysis of financial compliance, projected financial results, inclusive of detailed understanding of revenue and cost drivers behind each business unit, new deal analysis and assessment of potential acquisitions. Develop systems and tools with team members to facilitate efficient, effective and accurate analysis. Direct and maintain high standards of accountability within the team to demand and deliver superior quality financial information on a time-sensitive basis. Provide advice and direction to less experienced financial analysts. Become a strong finance partner with business unit representatives and executive management focusing on financial aspects of relationships across the organization. Communicate and present critical financial aspects of business to company executives. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. | | Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or Business Administration and five years of post-Bachelor’s experience at a multi-national technology or manufacturing Fortune Global 500 company. (U.S. Masters degree from a top 20 MBA program as ranked in U.S. News & World Report is strongly preferred). Requires experience in corporate finance involving P/L forecast; Cash flow forecast; Annual budget development and cost control; Book close; Finance business partnering with other divisions in the company; Cross functional project management; and supervisory or mentoring experience. Must possess experience in leading company-wide initiatives, including multi-location coordination. Qualified candidate must have completed the following graduate level courses: Corporate Finance; Managerial Accounting; Financial Accounting; Decision Modeling; and Statistics. Must be available to work during non-regular hours to accommodate the time differences between the U.S. and other countries to maintain communications on a regular basis. |
