Stryker's Corporate Finance function includes general accounting, worldwide reporting, financial planning and analysis, internal audit, tax and treasury. This internship provides the unique opportunity of rotating through several of these areas to gain a broad exposure to the Corporate Finance function. Our world-class internship program offers in-depth real-world finance experience in a Fortune 500 company, training opportunities, a mentorship program, exposure to high level executives and interaction with Stryker employees on a global scale.

Intern responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with month-end accounting close and internal financial statement reporting

* Assisting in the preparation of routine and ad hoc reporting for executive management

*Assisting in the execution of internal audits involving Sarbanes-Oxley and other compliance requirements

*Review systems and procedures to ensure compliance with policies, laws and regulations

*Preparation of federal and state income tax returns and participation in other global tax compliance filings

*Providing support for global tax planning projects

*Providing support to daily cash management operations including cash transfer execution and setting daily cash position

*Providing support to monthly investment analysis and reporting

*Assisting in the consolidation of the Net Hedging Program and preparation of foreign exchange hedging effectiveness reports

*Gathering and presenting competitor data from web-based sources

* Participating in a wide-range of finance and accounting centered special projects
Advanced coursework in Accounting and/or Finance is required.
