This position supports the AF DCGS Branch inside the C2ISR Division at Robins AFB, GA. The DCGS Branch is an Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) organization that manages a system providing actionable intelligence information to the warfighter, and maritime theater commanders. The DCGS enterprise enables the complete integration of ISR capabilities.
1. Duties include working directly with government financial systems used to plan, forecast, budget, and manage program/project funds. Provides on-site support to program personnel who require Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRS) technical and subject matter assistance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing expertise in Government finance; assisting customers with properly structuring financial data; performing reconciliation between several systems; performing daily review of forecasts and accounting data; and otherwise supporting a Government financial management office. Provides Advisory and Assistance to facilitate, compile, recommend and prepare guidance regarding system coordination/approval flows as they pertain to processing of purchase requests (PRs), Military Interdepartmental PRs (MIPRs), and other financial management processes (including budget definition, business rules, user privileges and definable general data fields), and to prepare implementation guidance. In addition to the daily interaction with customers, the employee will work closely with organization leadership and program managers during periodic management and budget reviews or briefings.
2. Specific tasks of the support contract include:
â€¢ Experience using the CCaRS, including but not limited to document preparation, forecasting, requirement submission, document flows, and reconciliation of CCaRS and Defense Finance Accounting Services transactions.
â€¢ Experience must be as a certified CCaRS Administrator and include working with Air Force accounting and cost estimating systems supporting a weapon system(s) acquisition or sustainment.
â€¢ Working knowledge of CCaRS must include program management functions, financial management functions and contracting office functions within the system, and as an ABSS administrator for creating and editing document flows from CCaR System.
Experience using Microsoft Office 2003 (or later) suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Must be able to acquire US Government SECRET security clearance.
